Once again it is time to ask the people of the area for nominations for Kaslo Citizen of the Year for 2010. This award is sponsored by the Kaslo & Area Chamber of Commerce. It is their way of saying "Thank you to good neighbors for making life better for all of us".
In making a nomination, keep in mind a few simple guidelines:
1. Recognition should have nothing to do with the nominees’ occupation.
2. We look for nominees who do good deeds for the people in the community, whether it is involvement in community organization, or helping a neighbor weed the garden. Consideration given to deeds known and unknown.
3. Deadline for submissions is April 15, 2010
These awards have been presented annually, by the Chamber of Commerce, since 1986. They were presented occasionally in earlier years.
